If for Pakistani Muslims Islam is a way of life then they have no right to protest against the Facebook!

As a Pakistani, I am proud of all the great people who live and work in Pakistan. Unfortunately number of these good citizens is rapidly dropping.

A new breed of Pakistanis is taking over the country.

If Islam was a way of life for all Pakistani Muslims than the state of the country would be very different indeed. But the current “state of the state” speaks for itself. There is not a single department private or government owned that is corruption free… correction – “that is not completely corrupt!”

No one wants to work for a living. Everybody wants to get rich without striving. Those who don’t want to get rich (or lets say those who have no desire to improve their lives) want to just loiter the streets and be a burden on an already collapsing economy.

Values among the general population are deteriorating at an accelerated rate. Every day it seems that the people have become worse than they were the day before. Morals and work ethics are thing of the past. No one takes pride in their work.

I used to be a strong believer of “our people are so talented, if only someone would encourage and guide them”… absolute bullshit. I have tried to give work to many “talented” workers; I have paid them their dues either on time or in advance to facilitate their work… but these so called ‘talented” workers disappear the moment they get hold of money. Leaving you high and dry!

From top to bottom we are becoming a nation of cheats and hypocrites. We love to say our prayers five times a day; we love to say or Friday prayers and make it an excuse not to work. We love to Fast in Ramadan (and lose our tempers because we cannot eat, drink or smoke) and cut each other throats because of lack of patience.

Yes, we are devout Muslims, following all the teachings of Islam. If the Holy Prophet was alive today, he would weeps with tears of blood because we are using Islam and not practicing Islam. We use Islam not to work, we use Islam to harass others, we use Islam to hog like pigs during Ramadan, we use Islam to cheat each other.

Let’s talk about our manners… public manners. An average Pakistani cannot speak a single sentence without cursing his own and other people’s mother or sister in the worst possible way you can think. For an average Pakistani it is absolutely acceptable and normal to use extreme swear words and phrases in standard conversation in public. In recent years I have seen children as young as 6 or 7 years old using language which would make any “decent” human faint and that is not all, mothers of these children use equally bad language with their family members.
When a child does something stupid or inappropriate, instead of correcting him or her, parents and other elders either laugh at it or ignore it completely. So now you can imagine what kind of society will be evolving in this Land of the Pure in the coming years.

Our society is deteriorating at every level, from richest to the poorest; there is no distinction or difference. The so called elite is as bad as the common masses. Our leadership is sickeningly corrupt and morally sick. They are perverted psychopaths with unlimited greed. Their insatiable perverted lust of inhuman desires is now acceptable by all, that is why we keep electing the same people again and again in our elections. We find such twisted morals normal and acceptable. Maybe we even feel more comfortable with such corrupt and immoral leaders.

So is Islam a way of life for the people of Pakistan? If so, what version of Islam is this? Are we (Pakistanis) even worthy of calling our selves Muslims?

Do we even have a right to protest when someone makes fun of our religion? Are we not making a mockery of our own religion every day? Do we not insult our Holy Prophet every time we call ourselves Muslims and then behave like uncivilized barbarians... stealing, kidnapping, killing, raping and cheating anyone weaker than us?

Yes, come out on the streets and shout anti-West slogans, condemn Facebook, block websites and throw tantrums… this is all we can do. We will not bring down a politician who is a known rapist and murderer. We will not help someone who is dying of hunger. We will not provide medical aid and help to someone who is sick. We will not help a child getting physically abused. We will not help a woman who has been gang raped and is asking for Justice.

Pakistanis really need to be guided back to the right path. They need a leadership which is human, an educated and civilized leadership. We as a nation have hit rock bottom and it will take years if not decades to bring us back to a level where we can be part of a civilized world.

When few hundred or thousand idiots do something stupid to provoke us, we act even more stupid and get provoked. When someone wants us to make fools of our selves we make fools of our selves. We destroy our own properties and harm our own economy and businesses to show our anger. Very intelligent indeed.

[AlHamdulillah] PTA and LHC and anyone else who thinks banning communication is solution to a problem is a MORON!!! This is like an ostrich sticking its bloody head in the ground and thinking that no one can see it...

Today whole world is laughing at Pakistan including all Muslim countries for acting in such a stupid and immature manner to an immature and moronic Facebook page. Today Pakistan is being compared to China and Iran in terms of freedom of speech and media freedom.

Looking at it from the perspective of Imaan... are we such weak believers that one stupid page by some nut case has shook the foundations of our Imaan? That one social network can collapse the freedom of speech and media freedom...

We have not protested against drone attacks for the last ten years... to high court or supreme court judge had or has the courage to block American News Channels and American products because our Government and our Judiciary are a bunch of perverted eunuchs... who lack the balls to stand up against those who can bust their asses (just like our bloody coward suicide bombers who target the unarmed hapless civilians or how the brave TTP Talibans beat up women and children and helpless to show the world how macho and strong they are!).

The Truth is that this whole banning of 800 plus websites on religious grounds is a farce. This is actually to serve political purpose. Everybody knows how the political leaders and their pimps were being exposed on these social / media sharing portals. Its a last ditch effort by these scums to hide their perverted sins and characters. LHC has made a fool of its self by imposing this ban without engaging professionals like media lawyers, human rights groups, "Actual" Ulema, Technical people and public support groups before taking such big and stupid decision. Sometimes I wonder if these Judges are those people who could not become anything else in life... like intellectually challenged???

Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) himself never punished anyone who insulted him... rather he forgave them and won their hearts with kindness. So on what examples from Prophet's life have our Government and Judiciary taken this decision?
